What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, " Hemingway is one of the most famous authors associated with Michigan. Although he was born and raised in Oak Park, IL, Hemingway spent long summers with his family at their cottage on Walloon Lake near Petoskey, MI. This part of his life is vividly depicted in At The Hemingways, a book written by his sister, Marceline Hemingway Sanford.

Petoskey, Michigan first hosted an annual October tour on foot and bus to places associated with Hemingway when living in the area such as his rooming house where he wrote, the public library where he spoke, the museum exhibiting him, and Walloon Lake where he spent summers as a child. 1991
