2nd ed. says, " Hemingway is one of the most famous authors associated with Michigan. Although he was born and raised in Oak Park, IL, Hemingway spent long summers with his family at their cottage on Walloon Lake near Petoskey, MI. This part of his life is vividly depicted in At The Hemingways, a book written by his sister, Marceline Hemingway Sanford.
