What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, " I am a compulsive writer, not an author by design. Inspiration for my work comes suddently, at most anytime of the day or night. I never sit down and force myself to write, the words come easily and with a minimum of revision. My work is marked by alliteration, possibly influenced by Swinburne. My preferences in poetry lean toward Houseman, Hardy, Yeats, and the American poet Edward Arlington Robinson. My philosophy includes both tranquility and curiosity."
