What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, " I have been married for 25 years have six children, and have lived at the same address for 22 years. My earlier poems were written between changing diapers and guiding children toward maturity. I settled down to serious writing in 1975 and began winning contests. With only three children at home, I am doing some 'growing up', too. I used to write only when the spirit moved me. Now I work at writing, setting aside three hours a day to learn new forms. Poetry is very challenging and as varied as life. I began having my work published at age 15, but is was strictly for fun. Now, it's for fun AND profit--and for the joy of accomplishment!"
