What is the aim or goal of your writing: "I grew up on a farm. My mother had been a teacher before she married my father. My family believed in education, hard work, helping relatives and neighbors and service to the community. My mother died in 1927 of breast cancer. I was eleven, my sisters were twelve, five, four and two. The two youngest lived with relatives in the neighborhood. We three older girls lived at home with our father. We had hard work, we had the Great Depression, we had responsibilites, but our father also made sure that we had fun and good times. We learned that we were capable people, that you worked hard and you did not give up."
