What is the aim or goal of your writing:
Harmony. The 2nd ed. says, "The subject matter of poetry should be no more restricted than that of prose, and it should be expounded by a full array of techniques and combinations of techniques. That is, it is up to us to avoid making poetry 'musical', and to strive toward keeping it a comprehensive, composite art able amply to interpret any or all human experience. The need for 'abstraction' is real, but it is important to manifest this need in the niceties of style, rather than in the restrictions of content; for the latter risks making poetry a minor art."
