What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, "I am either the only Michigander or one of the very few, who has completed a full USAF military career with a full college academic career, while on active duty. Aside from my academic career, I flew well over 3,000 hours in military aircraft, 122 combat missions, and hold the distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, five Air Medals, Air Force Commendation Medal, etc. I am sure that I am the only Michigander who flew and won these combat medals while a full professor on a dean-imposed sabbatical."
