Non Fiction
What is the aim or goal of your writing: My parents always told me I could do anything I set my mind to and I believed them. I've always been a voracious reader and a lover of words, which is great preparation for writing. In my teens, I won a scholarship to Chicago's Art Institute. My goal is to create lovely, lively and informative books for kids so the delight of reading and learning becomes one of the great joys in their lives.

May inquiries be sent to you about doing workshops, readings: Yes
I am a Michigan resident at heart, having spent dozens of summers in your state. I love traveling, and miss teaching. I'm ever eager to be back in a library or classroom. I usually speak at 15 or 20 schools each year.
