What is the aim or goal of your writing:
"I have found that success as a writer requires dedication, persistence in the face of rejection, and the sheer determination to succeed. It also includes networking with other established writers and with individuals in the extended publishing world, as well as pursuing every opportunity available for professional development. Lastly, I read everything I can -- books about both the art and the business of writing; historical fiction, mainstream fiction, mystery, suspense, and time travel; historical non-fiction, and non-fiction in other fields; newspapers and magazines. Each enhances my understanding of how to use language with grace and power, and how to structure the story artfully."
