What is the aim or goal of your writing:
I write because I love spinning and telling the tale. As a traditional American Indian, and an Inter-Tribal Elder, story-telling is my Shawnee duty. But it is also my particular fancy and infatuation. If this were 500-years ago, I would still be telling stories, albeit around a large circled fire outdoors, or within the tree-barked walls of a wegewa (lodge). It is what I enjoy, thrill to, and long to spend time doing. Apparently some folks do like my books, as evidenced by a television series and fans, etc. The fact that some two-legeds enjoy my stories, well, that… is just icing on the cake. I would still write, even if this wasn't the case, because I just flat-out love telling the tale.
