What is the aim or goal of your writing:
2nd ed. says, "for me, poetry is a way of searching my soul, trying to solve the problems of identity brought by growing under two cultures. With my poetry, I talk to my true self. "
"All the members of my family are involved in our publishing venture (Imprenta El Soplon). The children have published, Days of Milk and Honey, a paper for children of all ages. Its main contributors have been so far Dr. Spock, Senator Edward Kennedy, President Gerald Ford, Governor Ronald Reagan, Senator Eugene McCarthy, Nobel Prize Winner Norman E. Borlaugh, Governor Miliken, and more. We started Days to better communicate with our children, to share experiences with them, to get them involved with living things, to help educate them out of the classroom. We started publishing our own books out of frustration. Our first two were published in Mexico and our time meant nothing to our editors; mistakes took a long time to correct. We do our own work now, completely by hand; printing, setting type, sewing, binding, etc. We have a valuable collection of letters from great poets around the world, books, etc. The children could easily have an interesting exhibit of letters."
