What is the aim or goal of your writing: Author attributes her success to "an encouraging mother, inspiring and supporting teachers, and a love of reading". Author's work ethic: "What I preach and what I practice are often two different things! I know that the only way to accomplish a significant output is to treat writing as a job and keep regular writing hours daily. Alas, I don't do that." 2nd ed. says, "I have been waiting all my life for somebody to ask me what my philosophy is, and now that you HAVE, I don't know what to say! It's composed of bits and pieces such as 'The good guys always win!' and 'When you think you can't hang on any longer, HANG ON A LITTLE LONGER!' and on the thoughtful little gems of that calibre. As for 'interesting sidelights', here's a couple: Daniel Boone is my great-great-great-great grandfather; and I was born on the day that Lindbergh made his historic flight. I have only two comments about my creative work: I do the best I can, and yes, of COURSE I wish it were better."
