What is the aim or goal of your writing: I write as a way of thinking and learning and to share what I learn with a broader audience. The best training I had for writing was through my work as a book review editor (for the journal, Medical Anthropology Quarterly). I do lots of rewrites (I call it "tumbling" -- like what the waves of Lake Superior do to produce the beautiful smooth rocks and stones that you can find, as you walk its beaches). And try to be succinct; often less is more in writing.

May inquiries be sent to you about doing workshops, readings: Yes
