What is the aim or goal of your writing:
This is the only book about the Vietnam War written by a woman. The Red Cross Girls were the first women allowed in a combat zone. We opened untold numbers of opportunities for women who followed. Unarmed, we shared the same dangers as the soldiers: sniper's bullets, mortars, artillery flying over head.
As our veterans are slowly dying, our people are forgetting that they are the cause of our freedom. As a part of our veterans, I believe it to be imperative to pay the respect due to their bravery. Through my book, I hope to jar our population into the same terrifying experiences.
I am successful because I have the discipline to finish interesting and compelling stories. In addition, my husband, who assists me, considers writing a hobby, and enjoys working with me on my unique projects.
