What is the aim or goal of your writing: I love to write creatively. It is in my blood as I am passionate about it. I was ultimately inspired by my high school English teacher to pursue this interest. As President of the Washington Irving Society, the oldest operative creative writing group in the nation, I uncovered my true love. Over the years, I wrote as a catharsis. I believe my success with my current Sillwee Wobbert children's picture book series on health is due to my enthusiasm and deep caring for kids with special needs.

I am available for readings and offer several workshops for kids as follows: "Heart Health and the Silliness of You" for PreK-2nd grades; and "The ABC's of Making Books from the Heart" for 3rd-5th grades. Both revolve around an interactive book reading, diversity and health. I have held other seminars for middle and high schools that involve a career in writing and publishing.
