What is the aim or goal of your writing:
I have always loved books, first as a listener and picture peruser. Then as a reader, teacher, and finally a writer. I have worked with young children for over 30 years. I have learned first hand what works--as a lap book, a group book, or both. I get inspiration from real life situations--from students and my own children. I have always been drawn to verse, and that's primarily my style and voice. I'm also very detail oriented, and want to get every word and syllable right. My fabulous critique group has helped to nurture my craft.
