What is the aim or goal of your writing: In the second edition of Michigan Authors she is credited with: "Because of my busy life collecting my husband's papers for U. of M. Bentley Library in Ann Arbor, and collecting his memorabilia for the Wilber M. Brucker Hall at Ft. Myers, Virginia, I have had little time for writing, but hope soon to continue working on my experiences while Governor's wife of Michigan. I have organized a school of government in Detroit-was first president and founder, and am still coordinator for programs. To Have Your Cake and Eat It is about our Washington experiences."
