What is the aim or goal of your writing: Enjoyment of local history and as a tribute to my father who was born and raised in the area. 2nd ed. says, "Did much local history research with old newspapers. Assembled my book to tie in with Otsego Bicentennial Committee projects. Collected or copied all available pictures and old post cards, and invited a friend, Archie Nevins, to add some of his personal experiences in Otsego during the 1910-20 era. My book is a detailed chronological history of Otsego beginning with the first settler in 1831. I am still interested in local history and still doing research."
