What is the aim or goal of your writing:
"I try to reflect my appreciation of life. I see beauty in a lacy spider web and in the violence of a nor'wester blowing in from across Lake Superior. I love to make-believe! 'Once Upon a Rainy Morning' I navigated a ship in the form of a laundry basket to a mysterious isle. Though I was 30 at the time, I was just as delighted with the voyage as my 3-year-old passenger. To overcome a case of writer's block at 38, I left my typewriter to shinny up a rope and sit in my son's tree house. From there I composed the 15 stories and poems that appeared in The Peanut Butter Hamster. In brief, I try to invoke creative imagination and a sense of discovery! For instance, so many 'big people' don't take the time to stop and think and realize what kids are doing. When a small child holds a few grains of sand to the sunlight, I understand. It isn't sand, but tiny jewels. My two E's...Entertain and Educate!"
