What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, " I have released the shutter of my camera in places as diverse as a mosquito-infested swamp forsaken by all but the marsh animals, or a public parking lot choked with the city's automobiles. Still other moments have been photographically saved by snapping along the pristine silence of a woodland trail at dawn or amidst the bustling activity of lunch hour at the school where I once taught. But the purpose has remained a constant: to record the beauty of the natural world wherever it may be discovered. Although I was the photographer, the true author of each scene was frost or sun, hoof or wing, water or earth. Mother nature should be considered the director and sole dramatist; the camera-merely a silent spectator. I view my photography as an esthetic medium for conveying my concern and interest in nature. I would like to think the narrations I write...help to enhance that feeling in my audiences by wedding image and word to touch mind and heart."
