What is the aim or goal of your writing:
Besides learning more every day about how to make standard forms of poetry sound modern, I have an eclectic taste in literature which helps me to absorb (I hope) the style of writing that pleases me. And then, there is the luck of happening to be read by someone who likes what I've written.
I believe the goal of all art should be to uplift the human spirit. Rembrandt gave a touch of nobleness to all, even the most poor and/or unsightly subject.
