What is the aim or goal of your writing: The desire to be an artist goes back as far as I can remember and work in art studios from the age of eighteen was good experience, but the great opportunity to draw in court, fast, reasonably accurately and under great pressure, was only possible from years of sketching figures for fun in my sketch books. Draw, paint, and draw some more is really my work ethic. Close to 50 filled sketch books provide me with not only a diary of past years but a great source of reference. Drawing on commission is much more demanding. Drawing has been invaluable in sculpture, printing, tile designing -- anything requiring creativity.
