What is the aim or goal of your writing:
2nd ed. says, "William wrote about nature and the Michigan wilderness, particularly the area of the Tahquamenon. Because he had been handicapped by infantile paralysis, he could not participate in the vigorous lumbering activties of his father and brothers. As a result, Hulbert developed a keen interest in the plant and animal life of Michigan, as well as in the loggers and settlers who came to the Michigan wilderness. An early death at age 45 deprived Hulbert of the national recognition as a nature writer which would probably have come his way had he lived longer."
