What is the aim or goal of your writing:
2nd ed says, "While living in Charlevoix, Michigan she became interested in Chippewa Indian legends and felt they should be preserved. It often took six weeks to get the story of one legend from an Indian squaw. She gathered 64 legends and the material for her books in northern Michigan, Wisconsin, and southern California."
