What is the aim or goal of your writing:
2nd ed. says, "An avid reader, and as proud of my library as of anything I own, I feel deep concern over the lack of reading by too many of today's young people. Which is one reason I never turn down a school invitation to talk writing and the importance of reading, and have thoroughly enjoyed my appearances at the Children's Book Fairs. I am fully convinced that reading is essential for one to be a 'complete' person, that if one does not read--and read a cross section of all types of literature--he cannot help but be handicapped to some degree in life."
