What is the aim or goal of your writing:
"I write because I absolutely love the written word. I've been "writing" stories in my head for years, and with the kind help and considerable encouragement of my wonderful family and friends, I finally decided to take the plunge and begin putting my thoughts down on paper. I have a degree in English literature from Michigan State, and have always enjoyed writing of all kinds -- novels, poetry and short stories. I also received a good deal of assistance from the excellent books on self-publishing by Dan Poynter, and inspiration from the good works and success of Mr. Jonathan Rand, who publishes a series of children's fantasy books, many of which are based in Michigan."
