What is the aim or goal of your writing: I write because it enriches my life to do so. I notice things outside of the realm of my own inner noodlings. A great deal of my writing isn't for publication. It isn't even for me to read! It's just the act of writing itself. I write a good deal of poetry that only one or two other people will read. But my novel was written intentionally to reach a large audience, and I wrote it because a great number of people had asked me to document my ideas about dreams. Everybody Dreams has had some good success. I've been told that it is the best selling fiction title at Schuler Books in Eastwood, Lansing for the first quarter of this year. There have been a dozen book clubs that I'm aware of that have been reading the book. I think the success is in the title. Everybody Dreams. This is such a universal theme. On top of that I think I created some very strong characters that people can relate to. And finally, I wrote a page turner. I tried to keep the tension just strong enough to keep the reader engaged and wanting to know what happens next.
