What is the aim or goal of your writing:
"My aim or goal is to produce art worthy of a tradition of great artists. Poetry has no commercial value. It is not popular. But it is the form which asks a writer to take language as far as one can take it. The goal of my prose writing is similar, though the non-fiction essay depends more upon the play of content than specifically of language. There is at least a slight utilitarian value to prose. I suppose that as all writers do I write to discover what I think and how I feel."
