What is the aim or goal of your writing:
Writing is engaging for me. It keeps me in touch with my past experiences while heightening my attention to everyday details and interactions as I weave a story and play with words. Some of my success is based on my sense of humor as it emerges in my characters and plot deveopment. Another reason for success is my ability to adapt my writing to a particular audience: tall tale humor to magazines like "Mother Earth News" and "Horse and Rider", clear, factual prose for corporate communication and fun adventure for young-adult readers.
