What is the aim or goal of your writing: Contemporary Authors says, "Miss Mizner majored in history at the University of Michigan and has based most of her historical novels (aimed at the junior high group) on her favorite period, the mid-1800's. She writes on a fixed daily schedule, starting each book with a heroine, a definite time in history, and only a vague notion of what's going to evolve. "All sorts of things happen as you go along," she told an interviewer for the Detroit News, "and if I knew how my books were going to end, I'd never bother to finish them."
