What is the aim or goal of your writing: In the previous edition of Michigan Authors she is credited with saying: "It seems strange that my publications have been, at least as far as books are concerned, in the field of 'literature for young people,' and all but one of these books have been novels. The fact that I got very involved with my children's concerns prompted these books. Now that my children are grown, I find that I am returning to short stories and poems. I am very interested in writing some truly honest stories about women, and do have a group of stories in progress."
