What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, " I own a bookstore in downtown Grand Rapids, a general bookstore. I write poetry. I read my poetry for the Michigan Council for Arts, and around at colleges. The luminous image is what I'm after to resolve conflict and transform outer ugliness to inner calm and beauty. My poems are utterances to God, saying, 'Change me'."
