What is the aim or goal of your writing:
2nd ed. says, " This small tome of poems (mostly in meter and rhyme) is based on the theme of Lake Huron-its character and moods-written while the author was observing 'Nature' over many years when living in a cottage adjacent to Sanilac County Park. 'Retreat and Return' tries to convey an idea-the fleeting escape of city man from the urban 'fold' into the relative freedom of nature, here to the Michigan shores of Lake Huron. In this lyric descriptive poetry, I personify certain elements of the immense lake."
