What is the aim or goal of your writing: "My goal in writing is to capture my perceptions of life, through the art of haiki... to write haiku that will bring joy and insights to readers for a thousand years." 2nd ed. says, "There are magic moments everywhere...awareness growing...symbols falling together...if only to hint at these wonders along a varied path...would this not be a life of high endeaver? This spirit world... This universe... This atom dance!" "My interest in haiku has taken me backpacking along Lake Michigan from Frankfort to Leland; canoeing Michigan streams; and to Japan to walk in places the classic Haiku poets walked."
