What is the aim or goal of your writing:
2nd ed. says, "I tend to write about people and how they react in various situations. I believe that human beings are more alike than they are different. I feel compelled to express any situation from my point of view. I am hopeful that an additional viewpoint will aid people to arrive at solutions that will be representative of all of us. I am extremely interested in people as individuals. I deplore being referred to as the victim of the attitude 'they are all alike.'"

Other Comments:
Mrs. Avery's autobiography, has been likened to Alex Haley's "Roots". Mrs. Avery's plays were produced by a Detroit television station. For many years an elementary teacher, she was also a talented actress who played at Meadowbrook Theatre.
