What is the aim or goal of your writing: "I do historical research on many topics including the old Dixie from Canada to Key West. Rex Beach, author, was born in northern Michigan but never recognized there until this year, 1977, when I represented his credentials on the occasion of his 100th birthday anniversary September 1st. I am also interested in politics on both the local and national level and work on grass-roots opinions on national legislation for the Monitor Poll based in Washington, DC. I am a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and concerned about the future of our American Republic and the democratic processes in as far as my family has been here since 1634."
