What is the aim or goal of your writing: "My work has almost all been in the form of articles in two fields-American Literature and Psychiatry. The aim of my writing in American literature has been primarily to bring to light previously unpublished or unrecognized contributions such as manuscript material located in the Burton Collection, Detroit Public Library. The aim of my writing in psychiatry has been in several directions 1) publishing results of research 2) translating relevant articles from German and French 3) book reviews. I trust that in all cases my aim has been to contribute to knowledge."
