What is the aim or goal of your writing: "To share some of my thoughts with others. I have a need to express myself in this way. I felt it was a God-given gift I should use to uplift and encourage my readers." 2nd ed. says, "A strong belief in a Supreme Being and a sense of kinship with our Creator, found especially in nature, prompted me to begin writing. Many facets of nature lend themselves to analogies of real life situations and serve to provide insight to life's meaning. I desire to share in this way to help others grasp these truths. Personal relationships take on added depth and meaning also. I am interested in photography. In making up the illustrations for my books of poetry I have found that they serve admirably to convey the meaning of the poems used. Occasionally I use one along with my weekly column. My grandchildren are willing subjects and they have often provided inspiration for a column."
