What is the aim or goal of your writing:
"In my writing, I've been helped and influenced by more individuals than I could possibly name, though I try hard to thank them at the end of each book. Our three children have also inspired me in countless ways. My husband, Roy, an elementary teacher and counselor for children at risk, provides day-by-day consistent and long-term encouragement. . . . My content editor, Ron Klug, has also been a strong influence in my writing. Ron edited 20 of my books and is especially good with plot lines and the long-term direction of the series. . . . . Most of all, I attribute any success I've experienced to the Lord. When I was 9 1/2 years old He gave me the desire to become a writer. That deep-down sense of being called never left me, and prayer plays an important part in all that I do. . . . . In my writing, I want to send honey into the world. Not sticky, sweet honey, but honey combined with whole-wheat flour to nourish and give life. That means making whatever I write the best I possibly can. . . . . If I portray conflict but also positive role models, I give hope. I send honey into a world that needs encouragement. Yet because books go where I cannot, I often don't know what happens to my work. I can't begin to guess how my books or shorter pieces affect lives. . . . but perhaps - just perhaps - eleven years later, or twenty, or thirty, I may learn how God used something I wrote in the life of a reader."
