What is the aim or goal of your writing: 2nd ed. says, "My creative work is that of an amateur and should make no pretensions to being classical. It is only poetry in the sense of being an expression of intense feeling with analogous images/metaphors. I think I have read and loved so much good poetry the rhythms may have stayed in my mind and be built in. I think finding the familiar-our soul, perhaps God, the ideal in old or new, is happiness and can be attained by courageous trial of the new...you'll discover a truth--its goodness or badness...or by steadfast adherence to the old. The motive and honesty are what count. To me, that we enjoy and suffer mean that God has prepared a place for us. Education is helping the unintitiated to enjoy their minds, bodies, and external world. This is it today."
