What is the aim or goal of your writing:
My success comes from:
* A healthy, positive, rural family background that included parents dedicated to education.
* The continued support of five adult children, two of whom work for my company part time; the others support and believe in my work.
* A number of college educators who believed that a poor girl from a rural community had potential. These included my counselors at the College of Home Economics, Cornell University, and two professors who directed my work for graduate degrees, Dr. A.D. Woodruff at Cornell University and Dr. Leonard Kaplan at Wayne State University. Donald Sweeney, Chief of School Health, Michigan Deptartment of Community Health, has mentored my work in innumerable ways.
* A competent staff contributes immeasurably to my success.
My work ethic includes financial honesty and generosity to non-profit organizations. It includes a fierce dedication to the importance of the work produced by my company. I do not accept failure easily and will work exceedingly long hours to develop educational products of exceptional quality. These products are based on the most up-to-date research that I can locate. I believe parents and other adults deserve that benefit from reading my products.
