What is the aim or goal of your writing: She gives her husband credit for encouraging her early attempts at writing when she was a very busy young housewife and mother. Her interest in civic and church affairs and her love of family, including grandchildren are apparent in both conversation and writing. Her poem 'The Fair Peninsula' used in the "Michigan Poets" shows her love of Michigan.
