What is the aim or goal of your writing:
2nd ed. says, "I write poetry because I am a poet, I am a lover--a lover of mankind in general and individuals specifically. Primarily, my work is either didactic or an impetus to the reader to engage in introspection. I want my readers to disclose themselves to themselves first and foremost; to be honest with themselves; to allow themselves to see themselves as they are, not merely as they would have themselves and others believe they are; to allow themselves to forgive their own faults, and work to change them; and to grow in love, the single most meaningful force and ideal in the universe."
