What is the aim or goal of your writing: "To provide a non-technical reference book which describes Michigan trees in easy-to-read text and pictures. The text covers tree characteristics, history of use, present importance, where found, growth patterns and shapes, insect and disease problems, wood qualities, and values to wildlife and the landscape. Photographs show typical tree shapes, leaves, flowers and fruit, and the bark."
