What is the aim or goal of your writing: "Over three decades of diligent study of the history of the fur trade era, utilizing my own multi-disciplinary approach: A. Research with original documents, particularly French archival documents which I locate, transcribe, and translate. B. Research with hundreds of excavation reports, including about 140 sites from the French period, as well as detailed hands-on research with thousands of artifacts. C. Detailed genealogical research on over 725 of my French and French-Canadian direct ancestors, from over 120 communities in France, plus visiting their home regions in Canada and France. D. Two decades of researching and replicating most of the articles of daily life of the native populations of the Great Lakes region, as well as the primary articles of the French fur trade, and then more than a decade of living with my family in the wilderness for extended periods with only those items, as living history research. E. Paddling with my family the 3,000 mile length of the mainline fur trade canoe route across Canada." "Never stop learning, experiencing, and thinking."
