What is the aim or goal of your writing:
To me, the world is a carousel of images that take on meaning and poetry. Drawing opens children to the mysterioous dimensions of this wonderful planet; it is a means to understanding what they see. My goal is to create characters whom children would like to know and places where children would want to be, so that every time they open one of my books, they find warm, treasured images they can carry aorund with them like one of Grama's patchwork quilts......
I consider success if somewhere, sometime my work inspires someone else to want to make artwork or to draw.
May inquiries be sent to you about doing workshops, readings: Yes
I love to teach children how to draw people and I hope to inspire others to draw, as so many artists have inspired me.
I'm not interested in form letters.
