What is the aim or goal of your writing: Contemporary Authors says, "Kube-McDowell is a writer whose work is best categorized as cosmic science fiction, a subgenre exemplified by the work of Arthur C. Clark. A sense of wonder about the universe permeates cosmic science fiction stories, which generally span great distances of space and time. Kube-McDowell's career as an author began with the publication of short stories, many of which are included in science-fiction anthologies. Prior to the release of his first novel he also wrote and adapted screenplays for television. His first novel Emprise, introduces the Trigon Disunity series, which is set in the future and spans one thousand years."
