What is the aim or goal of your writing:
Writing is my creative outlet. I can’t draw, dance, act, paint, or sculpt. My photography is mediocre; my musical skills are fair. Writing is the one area in which I can start with a blank sheet and actually create something that I don’t immediately want to throw away.
I think my success comes from having a broad sense of humor. Coming from a funny family, it’s impossible for me to not see the humor in everything. The challenge is to use it in the right way at the right time and not just use it to get a laugh.

Photographer
- I’ve been a photographer for the City of Rochester Hills, MI since May, 1988. Durng the same period, I have worked as a consultant and various other duties at bike race events throughout the US, including the 1996 Summer Olympics. Prior to 1988, I worked at a couple of radio stations ( Fenton, Gaylord, Cadillac, MI) until I got fired for calling in sick to attend a bike race: the best career move of my life! |
