Poetry
What is the aim or goal of your writing: Honing my native talent, having superb mentors in Robert Hayden and Allen Ginsberg, opening up to other writers and making professional and friendship corrections, persistence, persistence, persistence, and a good measure of luck - being at the right place at the right time. 2nd ed. says, "My work is personal, to some extent auto-biographical. I am not given to explaining it via elaborate theory or esthetics. I am interested in rhythm, tonality, and an exact description of experience."
