What is the aim or goal of your writing: I write for a living. I have had a 40-year career writing for Michigan newspapers and magazines and find the writing process very satisfying. I am a full-time staff writer and editor for The Monroe (MI) Evening News, a daily newspaper serving Monroe County, MI. I wrote Ghosts of the River Raisin, my first book, to help area kids absorb a little basic information about their very historical community. If I've had any success, it is because I write incessantly.

May inquiries be sent to you about doing workshops, readings: Yes
I would be happy to talk about my book and the writing process. I can do book signings, but prefer not to do readings.
